Anemia
Tired and unmotivated? It might be anemia
The most common type of anemia is iron deficiency, where the body loses iron faster than it can produce it. A superior solution lies in the power of green plants.
Anemia occurs when there aren’t enough red blood cells to deliver sufficient oxygen throughout the body. There are three stages of iron deficiency. First, the body depletes its iron stores, but symptoms are not yet noticeable. Over time, the lack of iron causes anemia. In the final stage, we become chronically tired, which leads to many other problems:
- Fatigue with the inability to perform even minor physical or mental tasks
- Headaches and dizziness
- Cracked corners of the mouth, brittle hair and nails
- Restlessness, poor concentration, and lack of motivation – symptoms also present in children
How does anemia develop?
Through food, we ingest an average of 10 to 15 mg of iron per day, but only 10 to 30 percent is actually absorbed into the bloodstream. This is why simply changing dietary habits is often not enough to treat anemia, since the amount of iron absorbed is roughly equal to the amount lost daily.
Why do green plants heal?
One of the key reasons is chlorophyll! A natural source of over 100 micronutrients, with chlorophyll as the key element – wheatgrass stands out as a superior green plant or “super-vegetable,” containing up to 70% chlorophyll.
The similarity between the atomic structures of chlorophyll and hemoglobin was discovered in 1913 by German chemist Dr. Richard Willstätter. The only difference is the central atom: iron in hemoglobin and magnesium in chlorophyll. Both belong to the group of metals and are carriers of oxygen molecules – the essence of life.
Chlorophyll also supports body and liver detoxification, helps alkalize the bloodstream, improves digestion, and has numerous health benefits for the body.
